Through the simple act of sharing a bike ride, it weaves a sense of community and gathers unique and invaluable stories, unlocked only by the wind and wheels.
You don’t have to have a plan in order to become an affiliate. If you have a desire to set up a chapter based on our guiding principles. Affiliate Application
The first step to a successful Cycling Without Age chapter is to get inspired. We want you to feel welcome and supported and help you into the second phase, where you get buy-in from your community and start to fundraise for a trishaw and a sustainable operating model. Resources on this website, from The Hood, and from other chapters near and far show examples of how to do that. Although individual rides are offered for free, a donation and a subscription model for your chapter is necessary to most chapters, to keep the wheels turning. Don’t be shy to ask for the funding you need – it’s more than fair considering the impact of your work. We also ask that you incorporate a donation to The Hub in Copenhagen in your fundraising, which enables us to welcome more communities. Thank you.
