Building bridges – September 17-19, 2026
We are thrilled to announce that the Cycling Without Age Global Summit 2026 will be hosted in the stunning capital of Hungary, Budapest! The Summit is our global flagship event, bringing together the Cycling Without Age community from around the world. Since the beginning of the movement, Cycling Without Age has grown from a single visionary ride into a powerful global force for social connection. Let’s meet in Budapest to celebrate what we have achieved and to pave the way forward together.
Over three days in the heart of Europe, our global community will unite to share experiences, celebrate our growth, and co-create the future of the movement.
Inspiring Themes
We will explore how to build stronger bridges between generations in a world where loneliness and ageing have become shared global challenges. This Summit offers a unique space to learn from each other’s best practices, ensuring that the magic of the rickshaw ride transforms the pilot’s life just as much as that of the passenger. Together, we build a global movement rooted in shared humanity and collective wisdom.
World-Class Setting
Sessions will take place amid the historic grandeur of Budapest, featuring iconic locations such as Heroes’ Square, the Hungarian Parliament, and the scenic Danube River banks.
Global Celebration
Enjoy three days of high-level knowledge sharing, culminating in a massive rickshaw and bicycle parade through one of the world’s most beautiful cities.
Join us in Budapest to celebrate the science of connection and the power of community. Registration is now open—secure your place today and be part of this extraordinary journey. You can register for the Summit until 15 March, 2026.
The Summit is an event bringing together the Cycling Without Age community from all corners of the world.
Today, the movement thrives in 56 countries across more than 3,700 local chapters. With 4,500 rickshaws in operation and 62,000 trained pilots, we continue to bridge generations and provide the “right to wind in your hair” for those who can no longer cycle on their own.
Hungary officially joined the global movement in 2025, but the local response was unprecedented. The initiative took off with such extraordinary energy and passion that, after only six months of operation, Hungary stepped forward to host the international community.
Summit 2026 will focus on how to build bridges between pilots and passengers, between operational excellence and long-term sustainability, and most importantly, between us as people. We invite you to spend three wonderful days in Budapest creating new connections, getting to know a new culture, and having fun. 🙂
