Elke Fitz has always had a passion for travel and a deep interest in different cultures. From a young age, she recognized the unequal distribution of resources and was inspired by her grandmother’s wisdom that “nothing comes from nothing.” This motivated her to work towards making the world a better place.
Her love for cycling has grown over the years, and she advocates for it. A particularly fulfilling project for her has been Cycling Without Age, which she has passionately supported since 2015.
Elke’s diverse contributions include co-founding RADWERK Lustenau to promote cycling culture, organizing the FESTIVELO bicycle festival, and serving on the board of the Radlobby Vorarlberg. Her career also spans roles in administration, sales, project management, and public relations. Elke continues to champion cycling and sustainable mobility in her community and beyond.
